Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine has a unique style which combines R&B with gospel, soul music and R&B. Avery Sunshine's performances have been on Broadway as well as at various festivals across Europe, as well as performing at Democratic National Convention. Sunshine, whose given name is Denise White. While she is a resident of Atlanta, she originates out of Chester Pennsylvania where she began the musical path by singing as well as playing the piano at the church. Her musical career began in Atlanta while attending Spellman College. The Fighting Temptations The first single with her vocals was Stalk You A house 12 released only in Japan It has since been remixed by a variety of producers and has become a staple of her live sets. She also lent her voice to the soundtrack for The Fighting Temptations. In 2005 she was hired as the lead keyboardist for Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. In 2007, Grammy and Tony award-winning vocalist Jennifer Holliday sought her out to be the director of choral for the stage production of Dreamgirls in the National Black Arts Festival in Atlanta. Sunshine gained national recognition during her four daily performances in 2008 at the Democratic National Convention. She was invited to perform during President Obama's 2009 inauguration.
